By Brenda Erdahl: The large building on the west side of Birch Ave in Maple Lake that most recently housed The Pottery Farm is getting a new look and a new lease on life thanks to the efforts of new owner Scott Chantland. On Thursday, July 12, the front of the 108-year-old structure was demoed and will be replaced with an updated façade that is both modern and pays tribute to the historical significance of the building. When Chantland is done, it will be a completely new building with room for two office/retail spaces in front and office/warehouse space in the back.
