Irish softball players take home hardware

The Maple Lake High School softball team held its annual award ceremony last week where they celebrated a near perfect season that ended in a state title, plus individual accomplishments. Pictured above, front row, from left, Mollie Scheiber was named to the academic all-conference and all-state academic teams, earned All-Central Minnesota Conference First Team honors and the Golden Glove award; Megan Carlson was named to the academic all-conference team, earned All-CMC Second Team and Most Improved honors; Linsey Rachel was named to the academic all-conference and all-state academic teams, earned All-CMC First Team honors and the Slugger award, was all-section and first team all-state.
