Maple Lake schools opens its doors Tuesday, Sept. 4 and M&M Bus Service expects to transport 800 to 900 kindergarten through 12th grade students to and from school. Buses will leave the sheds around 6:45 that morning to start picking up their precious cargo. Motorists need to pay attention when they come upon a bus during their morning and afternoon commutes and to be patient, said Scott Millner, owner of M&M’s Maple Lake location. “People need to approach buses with caution knowing that the bus is picking up and dropping off students,” he said. According to Millner there are a surprising amount of stop arm violations nation and state wide.
