RALPH VERNON ORDORFF, Buffalo

Ralph Vernon Ordorff, 95 years and 10 months passed away at his farm in Buffalo on Saturday, July 28. He was born on September 5, 1922, in Buffalo Township, Wright County the son of Frank and Anna (Marschel) Ordorff. Ralph was a farmer, old time dancer, euchre card player, party planner, and painter. He was a director on the Centra Sota Board for thirty-three years. Ralph was also on the Board of Buffalo Township for over forty-one years; many spent as supervisor. Ralph was a faithful, longtime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Survived by: his children, Dwayne (Lind) Ordorff of Lake City, Sharon (Mickey) Beauchamp of Danridge, TN, Renee (Tom) Burchett, Richard (Linda) Ordorff, Daniel (Cindy) Ordorff all of Buffalo, Kevin (Gayle) Ordorff of Brooklyn Park, Shelley Fadden of Buffalo and Rita Harris of Palmett, Fla.; grandchildren, Melanie (Roger), Mathew (Kari), Angela (Chris), Nolan, Abby, Amanda, Tash (Jesse), Zachary (Nathasa), Bethany, Gina (Jason), Daniel Guy (Alicia), Steven (Mary), Tina (Ben), Dustin (Jennifer), Charles, Roscoe (Maria), Richard and Jolene; twenty- one great grandchildren; Tom Triplett and Kathy Jorgensen were very special in his life. Preceded in death by: his first grandson, Tronn Paulson; his parents; brother and sisters, Alden, Isabella, Ethel, Fred, George, and Jerome Ordorff, Minni Kiphuth, Lydia Bergquist, Esther Solberg, and Myrtle Bonk. Funeral Services for Ralph Ordorff will be held on Friday, August 3, at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Ryan Clark will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery- Crawford Lake. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 3 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at the church. Honorary Casket Bearers will be all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Casket Bearers will be Mitch Gagnon, Byron Bonk, James Bergquist, Cheryl Stauffer, Mark Ordorff, Gerald Lindquist, Bruce Schmidt and Gary Bonk. The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.
