Cargill, Paumen crowned MLHS Homecoming King and Queen

Zach Cargill and Brielle Paumen were crowned Maple Lake High School’s 2018-2019 Homecoming King and Queen, Monday, Oct. 1, at a well-attended ceremony in the high school auditorium. The coronation followed the annual Homecoming Parade on Division Street East. At left is the Homecoming Court. They are, front row, from left, Allie Vogel, Callie LaFave, Ava Mergen and Gracie Elsenpeter. Back row, from left is Daryn Strub, Wyatt Jacobs, Queen Brielle Paumen, King Zach Cargill, Michael Miller and Ben Goelz. Football fans can check out the PBIS cookout before the Irish take on Melrose at 7 p.m. in the big Homecoming Football Game. Halftime will feature the presentation of the King and Queen, announcement of the Class Float Competition winners and the presentation of Sports Banners. The Homecoming Dance will follow the game in the high school gym.
