Plastered with history Maple Lake Library unites past and present

by Brenda Erdahl:

Libraries have always been a place to gather knowledge, but usually that knowledge is found in a book. At the Maple Lake Library, it’s found on the walls too. Strolling through the library on the corner of Birch Ave South and Division Street visitors are treated to a mini history lesson thanks to the efforts of local historian and archivist Sue Sylvester. Upon those walls are 129 years of Maple Lake’s past, and it all has to do with the historical site the library now sits on.
