The ANML Lightning qualified three wrestlers to the state tournament, Saturday, Feb. 23, in what turned out to be an action- packed and unpredictable Section 6AA tournament full of underclassmen. Jed Wester (113), Adam Neumann (152), and Jack Klug (160) all earned runner-up which means they will represent Maple Lake and Annandale communities at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Thursday, Feb. 28 through Saturday, March 2. Wester, who was seeded No. 2 going in, made it to the finals with a dramatic overtime win where he lost a tight match to Ethan Anderson of Becker.
