Maple Lake’s American Legion Post 131 and the VFW Post 7664 will present the annual Memorial Day parade and program on Monday, May 27. The event will start at 10 a.m. with a parade led by the Maple Lake Fire Department, Legion and VFW Color and Honor Guard. The Maple Lake High School band will set the beat as they march down Birch Ave to Division Street and on to the Community Park where a service in remembrance of fallen comrades will take place near the veteran’s memorial.
