Notice of Annual Meeting,
Election of Officers and
Board of Canvass Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to qualified voters of Albion Township, Wright County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Township Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 at 9020 30th St NW, Annandale.
In case of inclement weather, the election and meeting may be postponed until March 17th, 2020.
The election poll hours will be open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at which time the voters will elect: one Supervisor for a 3 year term and one Clerk for a 2 year term.
Absentee voting begins on Friday February 7 and ends March 9, 2020 at the Wright County Courthouse. Call Wright County at 763-682-7692 or 763-682-7671 and ask to apply for mail absentee ballot. The Wright County Courthouse will also be open for in person absentee ballots from February 7 thru March 9, normal voting hours are 8am to 4:30pm and on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 10am to 3pm.
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:10 pm on March 17th, 2020 to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
The Board of Canvass will meet on March 17th, 2020 after the Annual Meeting to certify the official election results.
