Steven P. Meyer, age 62, of Maple Lake, died February 16, 2020 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.

Per Steve’s request, the family will be having a private Celebration of Life for friends and family this Spring/Summer.

Steven Paul Meyer was born July 30, 1957 in Minneapolis to Everett and Minnie (Pearson) Meyer. He graduated from high school in Anoka. Steve was a very hard worker and loved his job of many years as a self-employed carpet layer. He loved his family and friends so much. He would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need even if he needed it himself. He had a heart of gold! Anyone who knew him loved his presence and positivity in life. He enjoyed being in the sun and relaxing by the lake with a cold beverage. He also enjoyed watching boxing and making bets on the matches with his best friend and brother, Randy. He will be truly missed by all and will forever be in our hearts. We will miss him so much!

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Josh) Monson of Clear Lake; son Steve (Lindsay) Meyer of Chandler, AZ; three grandchildren, Paige (Dan) Winnen, Dylan Monson and Nash Meyer; great-grandchild, Delilah Koonst; loving significant other, Aleda Rodriguez; brothers and sister, Randy (Terry) Meyer of St. Michael, Ron (Nancy) Meyer of Andover and Karen Meyer of Ann Arbor, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
