service management services. The
Food Service Management Company
would provide management services
according to requirements of the U.S.
Department of Agriculture and the Minnesota
Department of Education.

An optional pre-proposal meeting is
scheduled for April 9, 2020 at 10:00
a.m. at Maple Lake Public Schools District
Office, 200 Highway 55 E, Maple
Lake, MN 55358
All proposals must be submitted no
later than 9:00 a.m. on April 22, 2020.
All proposals should be delivered in a
sealed envelope and addressed to the
Maple Lake Public Schools District Office
and be clearly marked: Food Service
Management Proposal.

ASSESSMENT NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That
the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization
of the Township of Albion of
Wright County, Minnesota, will meet at
the Albion Town Hall 9020 30th St NW,
Annandale; at 7:00pm, on Monday the
13th day of April 2020. The purpose of
this meeting is to determine whether
property in the jurisdiction has been
properly valued and classified by the
assessor.
If you believe the value or classification
of your property is incorrect,
please contact your assessor’s office to
discuss your concerns. If you disagree
with the valuation or classification after
discussing it with your assessor, you
may appear before the local board of
appeal and equalization. The board will
review your assessments and may
make corrections as needed. Generally,
you must appeal to the local board
before appealing to the county board of
appeal and equalization.

A. Discussion on the future of our
Community Education program. Tiffany
Grube presented information on a plan
for dissolving the Community Education
agreement between Annandale and
Maple Lake. Annandale will have this
item on their March 30 agenda.

were present to talk about the Softball
trip to CA scheduled for next week and
talked about any Covid-19 concerns
and having an alternate plan in place.
The board directed administration to
monitor and address it as they see appropriate.
B. M/S McAlpine/Mavencamp Motion
to approve Andy Sawatzke, Elementary
School Principal, as the
District’s LEA representative for Title
programming for the 2020-2021 school
year. Motion carries 7-0.
C. February 28, 2020 Enrollment
Figures were 822
D.M/S Neumann/McAlpine Motion
to approve a school calendar for the
2020-2021 school year. Motion carries
7-0.
9. New Business
A. M/S McAlpine/J Paumen Motion
to approve transportation contract with
M&M Bus Service, Inc. for the 2020-21
and 2021-22 school years. Motion carries
7-0.
B. First reading of the following policies

to approve a request for a 10’ wide
easement to install and underground
power line from Moland Avenue North

Specialties, Inc. to the Maple Lake High
School Robotics Team
2. $586.98 from Donors Choose for
Instructional Technology
3. $169.64 from Donors Choose for
Books for emergent readers

10. Representative Reports
A. ECFE/Community Education –
McAlpine said Kidville is increasing
summer weekly rates by $3.
B. Technology Committee – Redemske
said that technology requests
were sent out to staff
C. Wright Technical Center –
McAlpine reported that they won’t have
PLTW for next year.
D. High School –Hansen reported
that the Pops Concert was being held
tonight and having a great turnout. Parent-
Teacher Conferences were held
Feb. 22 and turnout was about 20%.
Scholarship applications are due March
19 at 3:15 p.m. Softball and Track practice
began today and baseball and golf
will start next week. End of 3rd quarter
is March 20. MCA testing begins next
Tuesday. The Irish Mentors Blood
Drive collected 58 units. Career Day
had 56 speakers and was a huge success.
Late start topic is Put Understanding
First. Registration for grades
9 through 11 are done and 7th and 8th
grade will be done this week.
