The appearance of COVID-19 has resulted in some historic changes at St. Timothy’s School in Maple Lake. Classes have gone on-line and now so will the school’s annual Spring Auction and Dinner.
The Spring Auction and Dinner is the school’s largest fundraiser, helping to keep tuition low and fund programs. Last year the event raised close to $80,000. Now in its 23rd year, organizers are taking drastic steps to keep it alive.
“When stay at home and social distancing orders began in March, we worked with our partners and rescheduled the auction and dinner for Saturday, May 23rd,” event Co-Chair Brandi Brandstrom said. “As the orders have been extended, we have had to further respond to the present environments.”
