Change is in the air at what used to be A Meat Shoppe in Maple Lake.
Since Doug Lindenfelser took over the business on May 1, it has not looked the same as it used to, and people seem to like it.
The shop was as busy as ever the day after the new signage was put up in early June, officially identifying the meat shop’s new name as The Butchery of Maple Lake. Other changes including a new paint job have also received high praise and more is on the way.
“The community has been very receptive and excited of the new ownership and early stages of the new look and I can’t wait to keep building on that,” Lindenfelser said.
