Maple Lake schools got a little safer last week with the removal and replacement of the high school’s aging front doors.
On Tuesday, August 4, a crew from Apollo Glass spent the day removing the doors and surrounding glass that Head of Building and Maintenance at Maple Lake Schools Brad Neutz believed were the original from when the building was built in 1966.
On Wednesday, August 5, new doors and glass with updated security features were installed and will be ready for students to walk through when school starts on Monday, August 31.
