Irish run a strong race at Kimball

Section meet set for Oct. 15, 16

By Brenda Erdahl

The Irish Cross Country teams ran respectable races last week in Kimball despite warmer weather than expected.

Sophie Pribyl ran a strong race from gun to finish to lead the girls to victory over opponents Holdingford and host team Eden Valley-Watkins.

The Irish boys placed three in the top 10 but were unable to match Holdingford’s depth. The Maple Lake boys finished second to the Huskers by a score of 46-22.
