The holidays are officially here and though we had hoped the pandemic would be over by now, it rages on, but that doesn’t mean we have to give up our treasured traditions – they just might have to be tweaked a little.
Bob Zimmerman and his wife Lynda are two Maple Lake residents in the “high risk” category for COVID complications and have seen first-hand the havoc the virus can wreck on a person. Lynda’s daughter is a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and is one of the “long-haul COVID survivors,” Bob said. She has been dealing with symptoms for more than sixth months.
