Some students return to class

By Brenda Erdahl

Maple Lake Public Schools are attempting to bring students back into the building this week after two full weeks of distance learning.

On Monday, Dec. 14, students in grades kindergarten through fifth returned to an in-person schedule four days a week while sixth through 12th grade students started following a more restrictive hybrid schedule. The hybrid schedule has the students divided into two groups with group A attending school in person on Wednesday, Dec. 16 and group B attending in-person on Thursday, Dec. 17. The rest of the days will follow a remote learning structure with all students out of the classroom on Friday, Dec. 18 for an independent learning day.
