Kimball, Eden Valley-Watkins show why they are tops in CMC

Irish ball players suffered losses at the hands of two of the better teams in the area last week.

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, the Maple Lake boys’ basketball team challenged Kimball who is tied for first place in the Central Minnesota Conference. Despite a strong effort from the home team, the Cubs left with a 43-39 win.

On Friday, Feb. 12, the Irish hosted perennial powerhouse Eden Valley-Watkins and fell 64-25. Maple Lake is now 3-6 overall and 3-5 in the Central Minnesota Conference.
