PUBLIC NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Maple Lake ISD #881 (“District”) requests proposals for group insurance coverage for the health plan year beginning October 1, 2021. Sealed proposals will be accepted in paper form until 12:00 pm central time on June 21, 2021. Sealed proposal should be delivered to Maureen Donohue at Maple Lake Schools District Office, 200 HWY 55 E, Maple Lake, MN 55358.

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO MIDCONTINENT COMMUNICATIONS TO MAINTAIN A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM IN SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, MINNESOTA; SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS ACCOMPANYING THE GRANT OF THE FRANCHISE; PROVIDING FOR REGULATION AND USE OF THE SYSTEM; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS

 

          The Town Board of the Silver Creek Township on the 20th day of April, 2021, adopted an ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Granting A Franchise To Midcontinent Communications To Maintain A Cable Communication System In Silver Creek Township, Minnesota; Setting Forth Conditions Accompanying The Grant Of The Franchise; Providing For Regulations And Use Of The System; And Prescribing Penalties For The Violation Of Its Provisions” This ordinance grants a cable television franchise to Midcontinent Communications to operate cable service in Silver Creek Township for a period of 10 years. The franchise agreement sets the terms of operation of the cable system, authorizes the installation of cable facilities in the City’s right of way, requires Midcontinent Communications to comply with all applicable laws and recommendations and sets other terms of operation for Midcontinent Communications’ cable television franchise.

          The Silver Creek Town Board has approved the text of this Summary for publication and has determined that this Summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. Complete copies of the Ordinance are available from the Township Clerk.
