Support St. Timothy’s School at its online auction this week

By Brenda Erdahl

For the second time in St. Timothy School History, the annual spring auction fundraiser will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The auction is the school’s largest fundraiser, and it helps to keep tuition low and fund programs. It’s a popular fundraiser that normally includes a themed dinner, live and silent auctions. This year, like last year, donors are being asked to log into an on-line auction site and make bids that way.

The auction went live on Saturday, May 8 at www.bidpal.net/sttimothyschoolspringauction2021 and bidding will continue through Sunday May 16. Items include everything from custom cribbage boards, children’s baskets, quilts, meat and “Judy’s famous dill pickles” to a day at the lake, an intro to flight class with local pilot Jim Shadduck and a pontoon cruise around Maple Lake. There are also Chanhassen Dinner Tickets up for bid, Monticello Community Center passes and rental packages at Powder Ridge plus much, much more.

“On behalf of the students, staff, and families of St. Timothy’s, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for your generosity during our online auction. These funds 100 percent support our school programs, many that would not be possible otherwise,” St. Timothy School Principal Julie Shelby said. “These unprecedented times have brought challenges, but our amazing community stepped up and helped us overcome those challenges.”

Pickup of winning items will happen on Monday, May 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, May 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Timothy’s School. Pickup will be handled in a Drive-Up manner, where Auction Committee members will bring your winning items to you.  If you need to arrange alternative pickup, please contact the School Office at 320-963-3417 or email at auction@stimml.org

The Side By Side / Cash Raffle winners will be drawn at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 17 at St. Timothy School. The drawing will be broadcast Live on the school’s Facebook Page. Like the page to be notified of when the drawing will start.
