Experience is the teacher, but not really the best one

We took a trip. You remember trips. Pack stuff, get too much money, check your credit card expiry dates, board the dog, throw the cat out, etc. It used to happen every year, until Covid-19. Then we got told to wash our hands and wear a mask and disinfect everything we could touch, making trips not worth the trip.
