commented in a recent column that I would be the first in line for the Covid booster shot. I don’t know if I was first, but I had an opportunity to get the shot on Friday at the St. Cloud VA and jumped at the chance. My medical records showed I was one of the more vulnerable ones and consequently eligible for the booster which will be distributed to the masses beginning the middle of September. I’ve had a lame shoulder ever since, but that’s a small price to pay, knowing I’m immunized.

There were plenty of small ones nibbling at the bait, he used plastic and I had red worms, and neither of us set the world on fire for keepers. The live well pump never got going and it looks like a replacement is necessary. Don had a large cooler and we kept enough for a meal of sunfish for him. The next morning at the Messenger office I was given the raspberries for being such a poor guide!
