Irish runners finish well at two meets

The Maple Lake boys’ and girls’ cross country teams had a busy week with meets at Paynesville and St. John’s Prep School.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, they traveled to Paynesville where they met nine teams on the racecourse.

Nick Lind led the Irish boys to a sixth-place finish and Sophie Pribyl led the girls to their sixth place finish.

Lind finished 10th out of 64 total runners in a time of 19:15.5. Noah Gindele finished next for the Irish in 18th place with a time of 19:52.0; Christopher Klatt was 42nd with a time of 21:50.3; Alan Haglin was 43rd with a time of 21:51.5; Logan Anglin was 49th with a time of 22:28.2; Nathan Rasset finished 60th with a time of 24:28.7 and Joe Rudolph was 64th with a time of 25:54.9.
