St. Timothy School students rolled up to the starting line of their annual bike marathon, Saturday, Oct. 9 knowing the hard part was done. After weeks of collecting pledges, they had reached their goal of $22,500. Now all they had to do was bike nine miles.

The final dollars rolled in Friday, Oct. 8 before the big race. According to staff, that’s the earliest the school has reached its financial goal in a long time. Fundraising will continue, as usual, into this week, but the students have secured a night of fun at a celebratory lock-in and the Maple Lake school will be able to keep its tuition one of the lowest in the county.
