Buffalo’s Lake Ridge and Park View ranked first and thirteenth

We have a great team here at Park View Care Center with hardworking, dedicated, caring staff,” added Park View Director of Nursing Toni Dahlin. “We strive to make a better place for our residents to live every day. We review our quality measures on a constant basis to make sure we have good outcomes for our residents. The longevity of the staff is a true testament of the love we have for older adults in the Buffalo area.” The CMS rating was developed to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas about which you may want to ask questions. The CMS rating system publishes reports on the Nursing Home Compare page at medicare.gov. The most recent ratings include data reported through April 28, 2021.

The Nursing Home Compare page features a quality rating system that gives each nursing home a rating between one and five stars.  Nursing homes with five stars are considered to have much above average quality and nursing homes with one star are considered to have quality much below average. There is one overall 5-star rating for each nursing home, and a separate rating for each of the following three sources of information, which include nursing home inspection results, staffing and fifteen different physical and clinical quality measures (QMs) for residents.
