ennis James Lengyel, Sr., age 82, of Maple Lake Mn., passed away on Wednesday August 3rd, 2022 after a two month battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. (CJD)
Dennis was born in Edson Wisconsin to James & Alfrieda Lengyel on April 17, 1940.
He was a Master Electrician for most of his life. He had a love for family, hunting, fishing and time at his beloved cabin.
He married his love Mary Patricia (Pat) Hanley on June 20th, 1960. Together they raised six children.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 62 years Pat, Children; D.J. (Tammy) Lengyel, Brian (Karen)Lengyel, Ken (Theresa)Lengyel, Kelly (Dan) Morrison, Brenda (Scott) Bakeberg, John (Jennifer)Lengyel; Seventeen Grandchildren & twelve Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents James & Freda, his brother Jim, sister Marlene Benzschawel, and many other loved family members.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake, Mn on Thursday, August 11th at 10:30am. There will be a one hour visitation in the church prior to the mass. Burial at St. Charles Cemetery to follow.
