The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returns Wednesday, Dec. 14, for the first time since 2019 and will pass through Maple Lake on its way to Annandale between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

The 1,000-foot train with hundreds of thousands of LED lights is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo at 5:45 for a 6 p.m. show at the 5th Street NE railroad crossing. The train will leave Buffalo at 6:30 p.m. and head to Annandale for a 7:30 p.m. show. It is expected to arrive in Annandale at 7:15 p.m. which means it will pass through Maple Lake between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. A good spot to see it is from the south side of the Maple Lake Community Park near the railroad tracks.

For those who want to follow it to Annandale and check out the show, it will stop on the west side of Downtown Park over the Harrison Street West railway crossing.

The 1,000-foot train with hundreds of thousands of festive, holiday lights should pass through Maple Lake sometime between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
