Maple Lake Irish Homecoming

By Brenda Erdahl:

Just one week into the school year and Maple Lake Public Schools are already gearing up for homecoming festivities.

The fun kicks off on Sunday Sept. 17 with an evening of Powder Puff Football and He-man Volleyball. The friendly competition between the senior and junior classes starts at 6 and 7:30 p.m. at the high school.

Monday, Sept. 18th is the start of dress up days and the scavenger hunt for students, but the big event is the parade and coronation.

The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Maple Lake Community Park and features the high school band, homecoming candidates, class floats and more. All are invited to attend. Lineup for participants begins at 6 p.m.
