Irish cross country race well at two meets

The Maple Lake cross country teams traveled to Pierz on Monday, Sept. 18 where the girls finished 11th out of 15 complete teams and the boys finished 15th out of 19 complete teams.

Nick Lind led the boys with his eighth-place finish in a time of 17:51.30. Carmyn Anderson was the top Maple Lake finisher on the girls team. She ran the 5K in 23:19.30 for 46th place.

Boys results

Logan Anglin finished the race in 20:40.10 for 82nd place; Hayden Dircks was 106th with a time of 21:36.10; Ben Ogram finished 110th with a time of 21:43.40 and right behind him was Blake Stoeber in 111th place with a time of 21:45.20. Alex Montesinos finished in 122nd place with a time of 23:00.20 and Tristin Stoeber was 126th with a time of 23:50.70.

Girls results

Lauren Anglin finished the girls race in 23:54.20 for 62nd place; Knloe Uecker was 73rd in 24:26.20; Jackie Pribyl was 76th in 24:33.20; Abby Gindele was 104th in 26:15.10; Claire Meyer was 111th in 26:39.90; and Larissa Tamm was 120th in 31:01.60.

Kimball

On Thursday, Sept. 21, the Irish traveled to Kimball for the Eden Valley-Watkins Invite where the girls finished third and the boys were fourth.
