The Maple Lake cross country teams traveled to St. John’s Prep School on Thursday, Sept. 28th where the boys finished sixth and the girls finished third.
Boys results
Nick Lind led the Irish boys with his third-place finish in 17:35.20; Logan Anglin was 24th in 20:46.10; Hayden Dircks was 25th in 20:51.10; Blake Stoeber finished 30th in 20:59.10; Ben Ogram was 48th in 22:09.00 and Tristin Stoeber was 54th in 23:32.20.
Girls results
Lauren Anglin led the girls with her eighth-place finish in 23:37.30; Carmyn Anderson was 11th in 23:53.60; Abby Gindele was 23rd in 25:59.20 and close behind her were Jackie Pribyl in 26:01.40 for 24th place and Khloe Uecker in 26:03.20 for 25th place. Claire Meyer finished 29th for the Irish girls in a time of 27:06.20 and Martha Donnett was 39th in 28:33.20.
The Irish traveled to Hinckley-Finlayson on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Results were not available at press time.

On Thursday, Oct. 5, the Irish go to Litchfield. Races begin at 4 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 10, the Irish compete at Royalton at 4 p.m.
The Irish boys erupt from the starting line at St. John’s last week. The abbey’s famed Johnnie Bread was the prize for top finishers.
