As a former Maple Lake teacher/coach I really enjoyed watching the Lakers play four games in the State Town Ball Tournament. It was fun watching plays, playing the game the right way with confidence, all out, on a mission.
I enjoyed seeing familiar names from the olden days like, Fobbe, Decker, Wurm, Brutlag, Erickson, Mavencamp, Porter, Hennen, Erdahl and Fuller.
Saying hello and a short visit was special. Maple Lake’s fan support was outstanding, way to go! Town ball and Minnesota amateur ball parks are the best in the U.S.
