Maple Lake Schools hosted its annual Veterans Day Program, Thursday, Nov. 9 out of respect to all those who have served in the military. VFW and Legion color guards opened the ceremony by presenting the flag and afterwards students and staff personally shook their hands and thanked them for their service. This year’s event was held early because Veterans Day, Nov. 11, fell on a Saturday.
