Katie M. Summerlet, age 71, of Maple Lake, Minnesota, died on Monday, October 16, 2023, at United Hospital in St. Paul.
A private burial will take place in Philadelphia at a later date.
Katie Marie Summerlet was born on January 31, 1952 in Fredrich, Maryland, the only child of Gerald and Phylis (Guass) McConnell. She worked as a telephone operator in Maryland for 21 years, worked at Jennie-O Company in Wilmar, worked as a cook at the Annandale Care Center and finally as a cook at a nursing home in Monticello.
Katie is survived by her husband, Richard of Maple Lake; two sons; and 4 grandchildren.
