I thought when Mike Johnson became speaker that maybe we were about to enter a new era of civility. The lefties of the Democrat party don’t want to get along. The ink was hardly dry and the name calling began.
“Radical right wing conservative. an idiot, pro-life, anti LGBTQ. Naturally he is a racist.” The same thing they would have said no matter who it was. Oh I almost forgot. He is a christian too. One of his first bills was to send aid to Israel The bill was a stand alone bill. PASS it!!. But no, the Democrats controlling the Senate wanted to include money for Ukraine and money to be spent at the southern border. Not sure on what. The more money you put in a bill, the more money that finds its way into a politician’s pocket. Right Joe? Is that why your octogenarian friends refuse to retire? They blame the Republicans for playing games, when in fact it is they who want to play the same old game of throwing things all together. So then you vote for all of it or none. By the way, who is tracking how the money is spent? Are we replenishing our stockpile of munitions? Old Joe says he is replacing the strategic oil supply he used to keep gas prices low. Reports show it is far below the required amount. In the process of sending military supplies to Ukraine, Israel, and maybe soon to Taiwan, will we have enough to defend ourselves? Maybe old Joe will have us all turn in our guns and ammo so our soldiers will have something to defend us with. Maybe our Battalion of LGBTQ + can hold them off. What a mess one person and a team of misfits can do!
