
Dale Triplett, 88, of Annandale, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Maple Lake American Legion. No formal services will be held. A private family interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
Dale Roger Triplett was born Dec. 14, 1935, to Virgil and Yulah (Fashant) Triplett in Maple Lake, Minnesota. After attending country school, he graduated from Annandale High School in 1953.
Following graduation, Dale enrolled in the U.S. Army. After serving time overseas, he was honorably discharged in November 1956. After returning home, Dale worked for Lithium Corporation until the company closed in 1960. He then joined the Laborer’s Union working mainly for Knutson Construction until his retirement in 1992.
In his free time, Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to his cabin, playing cribbage, and going to the casino.
Dale is survived by his sister Betty Dhaemers of Plymouth, brothers William (Josie) of Maple Lake and Vernon (Sue) of Brooklyn Center; niece and nephew Tracy (Tom) Johnson of Clontarf, Troy (Kim) Triplett of Monticello; five great nephews and nieces; and one great, great nephew.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Virgil and Yulah Triplett, brother-in-law Jim Dhamaers and sister-in-law Nancy Triplett.
