Six instrumentalists from Maple Lake High School were selected to perform with the St. Scholastica Honor Band recently.
The students were chosen by MLHS Band Director Matt Kusche for their abilities and work ethic. On Monday, Jan. 15, they traveled to The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth where they had the chance to work with a collegiate professor in preparation for an evening concert where they performed with nearly 200 other talented musicians from around the state.
The students called it a great opportunity, and all were excited to take part in it.
