Letter to the editor

When Walz moves on to his life after politics (which I hope is soon), he should apply for a job as a Magician. I have never seen anyone make so much money disappear so fast.

$18 billion surplus disappeared in a flash. Add to that $729 million for the proposed State Office Building. Let it be known that we welcome women who want to get an abortion, but can’t  in their home state. Don’t know who is paying that bill, but I have a good idea. Maybe he could do a little hocus pocus and use a measly $10 million to fund the needs of our WTC so it can continue to give our students a leg up when it comes to entering today’s workforce. I don’t usually favor more taxes, but this was a foreseeable problem that could easily have been fixed with money from the $18 billion surplus. Now the Legislature has a choice – Illegal immigrants, abortion for all, I’m sorry, I meant women’s health care, or our kid’s future. Let your voice be heard. Call your representative.
