In response to your last column, “Please keep writing”! I think, like a lot of readers, I have just not responded vocally, but have always enjoyed your reminiscing and reflections on days gone by. I believe you have a gift for “words” and telling a story.. I very much appreciated your reflections on book stores in a community. Also, unfortunately, becoming a thing of the past, but “thank you” for your kind words.
Maybe folks would like to hear your recollections of teaching in Maple Lake – complete with names & dates? (It would all be good, of course.)
Yes, please keep writing as long as you can. Maybe another book will come of it? The world is in need of more “words of wisdom”.
