Maple Lake Schools held its annual POPs Concert on Friday, March 8. The event serves to show off the talent of fifth through 12th grade band students and raise money for the Band Booster Program. Food and refreshments were available for purchase throughout the evening and many prizes were given away. The fifth-grade band performs under the direction of Ethan Brummer. The sixth-grade band performed the theme from Jurassic Park before a large audience at last week’s annual POPs Concert.
The junior high band performed “America” from West Side Story and highlights from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat under the direction of Matt Kusche.
