Thank you to Sarah Thomas for organizing another fantastic I Love to Read Month for Maple Lake Elementary. The beach theme celebration was a big hit.

Thanks to the MLE PTA members for a very successful BINGO night for elementary families! Thanks also to all who donated items for the gift baskets given away that evening.

Thank you to our Kindergarten staff for running a successful Kindergarten Round-up.

On February 22nd, we celebrated Bus Driver Appreciation. We want to thank our drivers for getting our students to and from school safely every day.

Thank you to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Maple Lake as they donated $5000 to the Backpack Buddies program.

Congratulations to the Maple Lake High School Band for receiving a rating of Excellent at the Large Group Concert held on March 6.

The first week of March we celebrate our School Social Workers!  Thank you to Lisa Weninger and Alexandra Jordan for all of their work with students.

Thank you to Sarah Thomas for running another successful Battle of the Books competition. Congratulations to all of our grade-level finalists.

Reading/Science Act update: They are looking for funding for staff time, curriculum and trying to get an increase in aide that we are currently receiving.

Basketball went very well this season.

The princess event has a fire during the event.

Talking about bussing for the 3-4 year old age group.

The Spring Catalog came out online for events.

Introduction to Joe to the board. He is the principal while Kris Harlan is out of the office. Talked about the first few days of the job. Getting situated and meeting all the kids. He says it’s going great so far.

Parent-Teacher Conferences were held on February, 22 2024.

1. Above average turn out

2. 30% of students were represented by their parents compared to our normal 20-23% average for spring conferences.

ACT Testing for students that signed up in December will take the test on Tuesday, March 12th 2024.

1. 23 students are testing

Scholarship Applications are due Thursday, March 14th 2024, at 3:15pm.

1. The scholarship committee will meet in April to rank applications

MCA Testing

1. Begins this week on Thursday, March 14, 2024 with reading in grade 10

End of Qtr 3 is on March 22nd, 2024.
