Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) will host its 87th Annual Meeting Thursday, April 18. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Delivering Through the Energy Transition.”
The meeting will be held at WH’s Rockford headquarters, located at 6800 Electric Drive. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. with a complimentary pork chop dinner served from 4:30 – 6:45 p.m. Multiple informational booths will be available for members to enjoy, along with plenty of activities for all ages, including Bingo. The local FFA chapter will provide activities and crafts for children ages 4- 10 from 4:30 – 8 p.m. Children can also enter to win one of four bicycles. The business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to run for one hour.
WH’s 2024 Annual Meeting will include a financial report, WH and WH Holding leadership reports, and results of the Board of Directors elections for Districts 1, 3, and 9. A grand prize drawing for a 2012 Ford F-150 4×4 retired from WH’s fleet will immediately follow the business meeting. Members are automatically registered for the grand prize given away at the end of the business meeting and must be present to win. All registered members in attendance will receive a free pound of butter following the conclusion of the business meeting. Free parking is available at WH headquarters, the Rockford Mall, Our Father’s Lutheran Church, and the Industrial Park. Shuttles will be available to take members to and from the event.

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric utility that provides power to rural Wright County and western Hennepin County. The cooperative has been a corporate citizen to the area since 1937 and currently serves more than 59,000 electric accounts. It is headquartered in Rockford.
Last year’s W-H Annual Meeting drew a large crowd. His year’s event is Thursday, April 18.
