Wright County Commissioners approved a request, Tuesday, August 20 at their regular board meeting, for a property tax abatement on a piece of land in Monticello that will soon be home to a new, 98-room hotel with restaurant and indoor pool.
The Monticello Hospitality Group, LLC requested a tax abatement of just over $400,000. Commissioners approved an amount up to $375,000 of county taxes to be abated over a 10-year period.
