Fall Festival is “fun for all!”

By Brenda Erdahl

The sun was out and the weather was cool Sunday, Sept. 22, a perfect day for St. Timothy’s 71st Annual Fall Festival in Maple Lake.

Crowds of people took advantage of the beautiful fall weather to enjoy music, games, food and community. The Knights of Columbus were kept busy selling their hamburgers, French fries and beverages for people to enjoy while they walked around or took a seat in the beer garden to watch the Vikings defeat the Houston Texans 34-7.

Many more enjoyed a pasta bar dinner inside the school. What’s the Scoop provided ice cream for desert from their truck outside and if that didn’t hit the spot, there was a candy booth and cake to be won on the cake walk. Needless to say, many went home with their sweet tooth satisfied.
