Letter to the editor

Election time is getting near, and this will be a very important election locally and nationally. I am urging people to be sure to vote and do your Due diligence to investigate the candidates that will best serve our city, county, state and country for security and growth. Maple Lake has two candidates running for mayor and four for city council.  Wayne Paumen is up for re-election on the council, and he is a person that has very solid values that are important to our community.  It is refreshing to see a fairly newcomer Nathaniel Martin to Maple Lake stepping forward wanting to serve in the city council position.  He is a person that has high energy and possesses strong family and civic values with the importance of a good image.  Nathaniel has been attending almost every council meeting for a long time to help him understand the city government and its role in guiding prosperity.   He has an industrial programing consulting company, and he realizes how important it is to properly do homework before making decisions, he is one that would not vote on an issue before doing proper research.  If you missed the candidate forum at city hall September 24th, I urge voters to watch the replay of it on the city website to help decide voting for all candidates.
