The Irish cross country team took a small group to Hinckley-Finlayson for a 17-team contest on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Elija Dorse was the only varsity finisher for the Irish on the boys side. He ran the 5K in 21:56.80 for 112th place.
The girls team finished three runners. Lauren Anglin was 33rd out of 121 runners with her time of 21:33.10; Jenna Kronenberg finished 115th in 28:24.10 and Abby Gindele was 116th in 29:43.30.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, the Irish runners headed to Litchfield for the annual Litchfield Invitational.
Hayden Dircks was the top finisher on the boys side. He ran the 5K in 18:18.2; Blake Stoeber finished in 18:21.1; Tristin Stoeber finished in 21:02.1; Elija Dorse finished in 21:30.1; Carter Ertel ran the race in 21:33.1; Clark Hawkinson finished in 23:05.1 and Nick Kramer had a time of 24:21.2.
Lauren Anglin was the top finisher on the girls side. She ran the 5k in 21:00.2; Peyton Walberg finished with a time of 22:42.7; Khloe Uecker ran the race in 22:54.7; Jenna Kronenberg finished in 23:47.2; Abby Gindele ran it in 25:05.7 and Leni Leithner finished in 25:43.1.

The Irish went to Royalton on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Results were not available at press time. On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Maple Lake runners will travel to Holdingford for the Central Minnesota Conference Meet. Races start at 4 p.m.
