The Lightning Wrestling team continued its early season winning ways with two more victories, including another dual win that came down to the last match. The home team defeated Sauk Rapids-Rice 62-10 and Elk River 33-25 during triangular dual action from Maple Lake on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Versus section foe Sauk Rapids-Rice, the Lightning won 11 of the 13 matches, including four by pin and four by forfeit. As for other Lightning victories, A.J. Bogatzki (152) and Carter Courtright (189) each earned technical falls, and Ayden Fitzgerald an 11-0 major decision over Carter Pesta.
