Festival of Trees

Contributed report

Starting Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Wright County Historical Society (2001 Hwy. 25, Buffalo) will host the 18th Annual Festival of Trees – a free event dubbed the “officially unofficial largest indoor holiday tree event in Minnesota.” This year’s theme is “Traditions.” The display includes more than 80 decorated trees. Enhancing the experience is a Santa letter writing station (he writes back!), a photo station, a scavenger hunt and free weekly drawings. There will also be an on-line auction and Saturday events.

The 2024 Festival of Trees runs from Monday, Dec. 3 through Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025. Open hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
