The Maple Lake girls basketball team was handed a heartbreaking, one point loss (46-45) to Central Minnesota Conference rival Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at home.
Two Irish players scored in the double digits in the tightly contested game. Avery Lee led scoring with 19 points. She also had five rebounds and one assist while Aleigha Jensen contributed 12 points, one rebound and two assists. Julia Larson had seven points and four rebounds in the loss.
