The Maple Lake boys’ basketball team is nearing the end of its season with only one regular game between them and the first round of the section tournament.
After back-to-back wins that marked a high point in their season, the Irish found themselves struggling again last week against some talented teams.
Eden Valley-Watkins 78, Maple Lake 36
The Irish struggled to get any momentum in their first game of the week, Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Eden Valley-Watkins High School. They were playing without Wyatt Breimon and had no defensive answer to the Eagle’s inside play led by Wyatt Moehrle who scored the game high of 38 points.
