School board hires new MLE principal

The Maple Lake School Board made the unanimous decision on Monday, Feb. 10 at their regular meeting to hire Buffalo native Anna Reedy as the new principal at Maple Lake Elementary School starting in July.

Reedy is currently the Dean of Students at Dassel-Cokato Middle School. She has 16 years of experience in education including seven years as an English teacher at Buffalo High School and five years as an English teacher at D-C.

Reedy graduated from Buffalo High School in 2005 and went on to pursue an undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University. She received her master’s degree from St. Mary’s University in 2019 and her degree in administration from the University of Minnesota, Moorhead in 2021.
